Elisa Esposto - Magic Strokes of Geometric Art
Introducing
Here to proudly introduce you to our Pro Team Artist- Elisa. She is currently working at the tattoo studio @familyaddictiontattooshop in Naples, Italy. As an outstanding representative of the Italian tattoo art scene. She is well known for her unique black and gray geometric tattoo style. She is not only a highly skilled tattoo artist, but also an artist with a deep understanding and insight into aesthetics.
Elisa is skilled at connecting with her clients, listening to their stories and visions, and then translating those emotions and thoughts into artwork on the skin. She believes that tattooing is a personalized expression, a unique interpretation of the body, and always strives to respect her clients' needs while injecting her own artistic inspiration and creativity.
Elisa Esposto is best known for her black and gray geometric tattoo style. This style is characterized by its clean fine lines, distinct layers and deep tones, giving a calm, sensible yet aesthetically pleasing visual experience.
The Beauty of Lines: Elisa specializes in using smooth lines to construct various geometric shapes, which stand alone and intertwine with each other to form complex and orderly patterns. Her lines are extremely fine, and each stroke appears to be precise and powerful.
Color: Although black and grey are the main colors, Elisa skillfully uses different shades of grey to create a rich sense of layering and three-dimensionality. This use of color not only makes the tattoos look deeper and more mysterious, but also gives them a stronger visual impact.
Geometric Aesthetics: Geometric shapes play a crucial role in Elisa's work. She is adept at skillfully combining and distorting basic geometric elements such as circles, squares, and triangles to create motifs that are both modern and classically beautiful. These patterns are often profound and thought-provoking.
Personalization: Whether it's simple geometric shapes or complex combinations of patterns, Elisa can personalize her designs according to the customer's needs and preferences. She will incorporate the client's story, emotions or desires into the tattoo design, making the piece a one-of-a-kind work of art.
Where it all began
Elisa was born in 1994 and from a young age she had a passion for drawing. During her adolescence, she became interested in tattooing. This interest turned into a real passion in her twenties, when she decided to take a chance and choose a tattoo machine on Amazon, buying needles, rubber bands and everything she needed. Synthetic skin is an unusable rubber band and it took her a long time to figure out how best to clean up the mess she made while tattooing. Over the next few weeks, she watched a lot of videos and got a lot of people tattooed, trying to learn as much as she could. Tried a thousand ways to draw lines, two thousand ways to figure out how to do gradients. At the same time, she started to dive into everything related to the tattoo world: from basic techniques to history and different style trends.
An important turning point
However, the real start of elisa's career happened in 2016. She met @mattia_serafini87. that year she had the opportunity to apprentice at a real tattoo studio @adriaticinksenigallia. This experience was crucial for her:It allowed me to learn on the job under the guidance of professionals and to be completely immersed in this fascinating world. Every day is a new opportunity to learn something new, improve my skills and refine my personal style.
Finding your love
Elisa started out doing caricatures. She loved color so much and did it well. But she felt the essential part that allowed her to express herself 100% was missing. After four years of intense work and study, I felt the need to further specialize and decided to dedicate myself to geometric decorative tattooing. The change in style happened naturally. The decision was dictated by my passion for the beauty of clean lines, precise shapes and intricate details of these styles. From a technical point of view, geometry needs to be very precise and is more difficult to learn to master than cartooning. In particular, it needs more research to be realized.
Elias never stops moving forward, knowing that the journey of growth and learning never ends. Every day she strives to enrich her knowledge, improve her skills, explore new technologies and keep up with the latest trends in the industry.
How did the PEPAX needle perform?
“After almost two years of collaboration with @pepax.official, I can tell you that I am extremely satisfied with their cartridges.
90% of my work is done with Pepax needles. My favorites are the 7rl for some outline and bloodline, and 11/14 rl that I use for dotwork! I recommend them to you and I want to thank the great Pepax family for supporting me every day and accompanying me throughout my journey!”
