Description
PEPAX® SUFU Tattoo Protection Film Roll (15cmx10m)-produced with latex-free, no dust and transparent matte film bandage material. Waterproof and breathable properties have been improved. It can also protect fresh tattoos well, reduce the risk of scarring, and will not cause much impact on daily life.
Ultra-Thin & Virtually Invisible
At just 0.02mm thick, the transparent matte film conforms seamlessly to the skin's contours, staying discreet under clothing while delivering full-coverage protection — so you can go about your day without even knowing it's there.
Waterproof Yet Breathable
An advanced waterproof barrier keeps water, dirt, and bacteria out, while the breathable membrane allows moisture vapor to escape — maintaining the ideal healing environment without trapping heat or causing skin suffocation.
Latex-Free & Low-Allergen Formula
Crafted from dust-free, latex-free materials and CE-certified tested, this film is safe for all skin types including sensitive skin — giving both tattoo artists and their clients total peace of mind from day one.
Reduces Scabbing & Minimizes Scarring Risk
By locking in the skin's natural moisture, the film prevents excessive scabbing, cracking, and peeling during the critical healing window — promoting smoother skin regeneration and significantly lowering the risk of scarring.
Large Roll Format — Cut to Any Size
Available in 10cm and 15cm widths with 10 meters per roll, the film can be trimmed to fit any tattoo — small or large. Multi-roll bundle options make it the ideal choice for professional studios stocking up in bulk.
How to Use
| Step 1 — Clean the Area | Immediately after the tattoo session, gently rinse the tattooed area with clean water or a mild foam cleanser to remove excess ink and plasma. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — do not rub. |
| Step 2 — Cut to Size | Unroll and cut a piece large enough to cover the entire tattoo, leaving approximately 2–3cm of overlap on all sides to ensure a secure seal. |
| Step 3 — Apply the Film | Peel off the backing liner and apply the film from the center outward, smoothing it flat against the skin. Press firmly along the edges to eliminate air bubbles and prevent lifting. Once applied, the film is waterproof — normal showering and daily activities are fine. |
| Step 4 — Wear for 24–72 Hours | Leave the film in place for the first 24 to 72 hours. Some fluid buildup (a mix of plasma and ink) beneath the film is completely normal and part of the healing process. Only replace the film early if leakage breaks the seal around the edges. |
| Step 5 — Remove Gently | To remove, loosen one corner under warm running water and peel back slowly and evenly — never dry-peel or rip. After removal, cleanse the skin gently. Reapply a fresh piece if the tattoo is still in the early healing stage, or transition to a daily tattoo butter or lotion for ongoing moisture care. |
💡 Pro Tip: For best results, use the protection film for the first 3–5 days post-session, then follow up with PEPAX SUFU Tattoo Butter or Tattoo Lotion to keep the healed tattoo hydrated and vibrant long-term.

FAQ
A:
Yes. PEPAXS SUFU Protection Film is engineered with a hypoallergenic, latex-free formula and uses a low-sensitivity medical acrylic adhesive. It is explicitly designed to minimize the risk of redness, allergies, or skin irritation. However, if you have a known history of severe medical adhesive allergies, we recommend testing a small piece on un-tattooed skin for 24 hours prior to your session, or consulting your tattoo artist.
A:
Absolutely. Our protection film is 100% waterproof, meaning you can take regular showers without worrying about ruining your new tattoo. The medical-grade adhesive creates a secure barrier that keeps water, dirt, and bacteria out. However, please avoid taking long baths, swimming, or immersing the tattooed area in water, as prolonged submersion can weaken the adhesive and compromise the sterile seal.
A:
No, it will not pull out your ink if removed correctly. The adhesive is specially formulated to bond securely to dry, un-tattooed skin while being gentle on the healing wound.
How to remove it painlessly: The best way to remove the film is under a warm shower. The warmth will loosen the adhesive. Instead of pulling the film straight up and away from the skin (like a band-aid), grab a corner and stretch it horizontally outward parallel to your skin. This releases the grip smoothly without pulling on the fresh tattoo.
A:
Apply the film once the tattoo has stopped bleeding and the area has been cleaned and dried. It creates a waterproof, breathable barrier that helps protect the tattoo from dirt, bacteria, and friction while supporting the healing process.
A:
Yes, this is completely normal! This fluid is a mixture of your body's natural plasma, white blood cells, and excess tattoo ink—often referred to as an "ink bubble." It is a sign that your body is actively healing itself. The film is designed to trap these natural fluids to keep the wound moist and prevent scabbing. However, if the fluid begins to leak out of the edges of the film, it means the seal is broken, and you should remove the film, wash the tattoo, and apply a fresh piece.
